Creemore is designed as an owner-operated investment firm. Research, risk management and capital allocation remain closely connected. The firm seeks to avoid the bureaucracy, diffusion of responsibility and institutional incentives that can weaken investment judgment as organizations grow.
The goal is not to create the appearance of an institution.

The name
Creemore Place, Tujunga

The firm is named after Creemore Place in Tujunga, California, where founder Sean Burns grew up.
Creemore represents an idea larger than geography. Serious institutions can begin in ordinary places. Ambition can be rooted rather than rootless. Progress does not require abandoning identity, family or origin.
That principle informs how the firm is being built: deliberately, personally and for the long term.

Sean Burns is the founder of Creemore Capital Management.
His investment approach has been shaped through the study and practice of discretionary public-market investing, with an emphasis on concentrated equities, liquid futures, price behavior and explicit risk control.
Sean has worked in investment-management and financial-services roles spanning investment operations, distribution and portfolio support. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Arizona State University and passed the Series 65 examination.
Sean founded Creemore to build the investment firm he believed should exist: independent, concentrated, intellectually honest and personally accountable.
